While editing your site you will certainly need to link it to some external sources with additional information.
Luckily, CherryFramework 4 templates allow to achieve this easily using shortcodes.
Let’s learn how to do that.
Let’s say, you want to add a custom link to the Contacts page.
The tutorial assumes you are already logged into your WordPress dashboard.

Click the “Edit Page” button at the top of the screen to reach the Contacts page in your back-end:

Now put your mouse cursor to the place where you want to add the button to and click “Insert Shortcode” button in the upper part of the screen:

On the pop-up window choose the “Button” shortcode by clicking on it:

Now that the shortcode options interface appeared, set the options to make the shortcode fit your desire, e.g. button Text, Link, Background and Text color etc.:

Click “Insert shortcode” button at the bottom left of the shortcode options pop-up window to insert the shortcode to the page:

Finally, click “Update” button at the right to apply the changes:

Navigate to the page front-end by clicking “View page” button:
You can see the Learn More button linked to Google home page is successfully added now:
