Drupal 6. How to create a new block

This tutorial will show you how to add new block to your Drupal based website.

1. Login as administrator.
2. Open "Administer -> Site Building -> Blocks".
3. Click "Add block" at the top.
4. Input your "Block description", "Block title", and "Block body" (block’s content) text.
5. Press "Save block" button.

Chaging block’s position
6. Change the block’s position, by dragging it to the desired region (e.g. "Right sidebar", "Left Sidebar", "Content", etc.).
7. Press "Save blocks" button to save the changes.

That’s it. Now the newly created block with your content should appear in the region you chosen.
