Drupal 7.x. How to create drop-down menu (submenu)

This video tutorial will show how to create drop-down menu (submenu) in Drupal 7.x.

1. Go to Structure -> Menus -> Main Menu:

   

2. We need the Main menu. Click on add link in order to add new menu item:

   

3. Create the title for the new menu item, add URL (internal or external), then select the parent for the item and press Save button:

   

4. Save the changes and check your site:

   

5. We are going to add submenu items, go back to Structure -> Menus -> Main Menu, then press Add link button:

   

6. Create submenu item title, add URL, in radio box select New Menu item as a parent:

   

7. Create one more submenu item, do the same steps as for the first sub-item:

   

8. Save the changes and check your site:

   

9. Let’s change the position of the items from vertical to horizontal.

10. Go to Structure -> Menus, select second submenu item, then press cross symbol and align to the left to match with the first submenu item:

    

11. Save the changes and check your site:
