The tutorial shows how to find what View types are supported in your Drupal 7.x theme.

Drupal 7.x. View types overview

View is a Drupal module which allows representing content in a flexible way. To see what types of views are available in your theme, navigate to Drupal admin panel and open the Structure – Views tab:

  1. Archive takes the content type “Blog entry”, arranges them by months and displays content in the block or page mode.

  2. Banners takes the content type “Banner” and displays them in the block mode.

  3. Categories takes taxonomy terms from the “Blog categories” vocabulary and displays them in the block mode.

  4. FAQS takes the content type “FAQ” and displays them in the page mode.

  5. Portfolio takes the content type “Portfolio Item” and displays them in the Portfolio (Gallery, Services) page mode in two, three or four columns.

  6. Portfolio filter creates a portfolio filter block that can be used in the “Portfolio” view.

  7. Recent posts takes the content type “Blog entry” and displays them in the block mode.

  8. Slider takes the content type “Slide” and displays them in the slider block mode.

  9. Team takes the content type “Employee” and displays them in the block mode.

  10. Testimonials takes the content type “Testimonial” and displays them in the block or page mode.
