Drupal. Template settings overview

In this post we’ll describe Drupal template settings. The template settings allow you to adjust various aspects of the template layout through the Drupal administration panel.

First of all you need to log in to Drupal as administrator. When logged in click Appearance button from the control panel top menu.

In the enabled themes list select default theme and click Settings link

The template settings screen contains several option areas. Let’s see what the offer:

TOGGLE DISPLAY

In his area you can

  • Select what type of logo you want to use – image logo or text with slogan
  • Select if you want to enable/disable main and secondary menus
  • Enable/disable comments and posts images etc.

LOGO IMAGE SETTINGS

Enable/disable default logo display

SHORTCUT ICON SETTINGS

Check if you want to display default address bar icon (favicon)

BREADCRUMB

Breadcrumbs settings area allows you to configure the Breadcrumbs display on your website.

When you are done adjusting template settings click Save configuration button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
