Element appears in .FLA movie but not in published .SWF

Q: I alter the text in flash and the changes appear when I play the .FLA unpublished movie, but when I publish to .SWF, it is gone. Not a trace. Please, advise. A: The problem is probably in fonts. Before editing a flash layout, you should install ALL the fonts that came with a template package. Please, check the entire Fonts folder within the template package. After you install the required fonts, the text will almost certainly be visible in the exported .SWF movie. See also: Working with fonts
