This tutorial shows how to change the company name, slogan and favicon.

1. We can see the company name, slogan, logo and favicon on the screenshot below. The logo is represented by an image.

   

2. We recommend that you change the company name, slogan and logo using the Adobe Photoshop software. In this case your logo, company name and slogan will have the same design as the company name, slogan and logo in the original template.

3. Unzip the sources zip folder, go to the “psd” folder and open the .psd file in Adobe Photoshop. Select Text tool (T hotkey) and change the company name and slogan. You can find more detailed instructions in the video version of this tutorial.

   

4. Open the image you would like to use as your logo. Press CTRL+A in order to select the whole image, copy it and paste to your .psd file. You may also select a part of the image using Marquee Tools. Press CTRL+T in order to use Transform tool and adjust the image dimensions. Make layers with the logo background invisible if you need to use a transparent logo.

   

5. Go to File -> Save for Web & Devices. Select the slice with the logo. Use the same options as on the screenshot below. Click Save.

   

6. Open the Drupal admin section, go to the Appearance -> themeXXX menu. Uncheck the option with default logo and upload your logo, then save the changes.

   

7. Clear cache in your Drupal engine (under Configuration -> Performance select Clear all caches).

8. The Favicon can be changed in the same page as the logo. The favicon section is called Shortcut icon settings. Upload the favicon.ico file. You can generate such an image using on-line converters. (You can Google sites that provide this service.) Save the changes.

   

9. We have changed the Favicon.
