PrestaShop 1.4.x. How to manage taxes

This tutorial shows how to manage taxes in PrestaShop. Taxes management tool can be accessed through PrestaShop administration panel.

Manage Taxes

When you are logged in to the PrestaShop admin panel go to Payment > Taxes

Here you can see a list of available taxes. To add new one click Add New button. To edit existing one use the Edit icon.

Adding new tax you need to select the Tax Name, Tax Rate, Zone and States.

When you are done click Save button to keep your changes.

Assign tax to product

To assign TAX to some product in the PrestaShop admin panel go to Catalog and select the product you want to assign tax to.

At the product Info page use the Tax select box to choose required tax. Click Save button.
