This tutorial will show you how to replace the default WordPress home page with the custom one.
By default the WordPress home page displays the latest posts in blog format. You can replace the blog with the static page or some other content the following way.
1. Open WordPress admin panel
2. Go to Settings > Reading.
3. Use the Front Page display options, check Static Page
4. From the drop down select the page you want to use as a home.
Note that you should create a page before. This could be done from the admin panel> Pages> Add New.
