This tutorial will show you how to activate and manage user registration on website in Joomla 3.x.

If you want your site visitors to be able to register to gain access to additional resources, you can follow these steps:

1. Allow registration as general. Open Joomla admin panel and navigate to System > Global Configuration > Users Manager > Component> Allow User Registration. Set it to ‘YES’ and save changes:

   

2. Publish Login module. Navigate to Extensions > Module manager > Login Form and click ‘Enable’ button to activate module.

3. Publish login menu button. Navigate to Menus > User Menu > Login. Enable it.

4. Add Registration menu item. Navigate to Menus > User Menu > Add New. Input required title for the menu items. Go to Menu Item Type > Select > Users Manager > Registration Form. Under ‘Template Style’ tab select theme####-Default and save changes:

   

   

Refresh the site. Login and Registration buttons are now available.
