Hello! This tutorial shows how to manage Komento “Terms and Conditions” checkbox text on your Joomla 3.x site.

Joomla 3.x. How to edit Komento’s “Terms and Conditions”

Komento Terms and Conditions text is displayed on single article pages. Site visitors have to agree with these terms in order to proceed to submitting their feedbacks if this option is activated. Please refer to the screenshot below:

Please perform the following steps to change the text:

1. Open your Joomla admin panel and navigate to Components -> Komento -> Integrations menu:

   

2. Open “Joomla Article” component, then switch to Layout section and go to Comment form tab:

   

3. First, please select needed group of users at the bottom of the page, at Enable Terms and Conditions section. By default, it is set to Guest, you may choose any other usergroup. E.g. changing this option to Administrator will make checkbox no more appear for guests. This will let you easily enable/disable checkbox appearance:

   

4. Next you may change checkbox text in the Terms and Conditions text field. Please enter the desired text here and save changes pressing Save button in the top left corner:
