This video tutorial is going to show how to remove author name and date from a single article and all articles in Joomla 3.x templates.

1. Log into Joomla admin panel, then go to Content -> Article Manager -> search for some specific article:

   

2. When article is opened, press Options Tab:

   

3. Scroll down the page, on the left side you will see the list of article features, locate Show Author and select Hide to remove the Author name just for this article, do the same for the fields with date, then press Save Changes button:

   

4. Now we are going to remove Author name and date for all articles. Navigate to System -> Global Configuration -> Articles

5. Locate Show Author and press Hide to remove author name globally, do the same for the fields with date, after that press save and close button:
