The following tutorial is going to show how to configure price filter in Magento.

Magento. How to configure the Price filter for layered navigation

NOTE: We recommend disabling Magento cache or clearing it after all configuration changes. Please check the following tutorial for the detailed guidance: Magento. How to clear cache

  1. Log into your Magento admin panel.

  2. Navigate to System > Configuration > Catalog > Layered navigation and find Price Navigation Step Calculation section:

  3. Set Price Navigation Step Calculation to Manual and change the settings that appear.

  4. Specify Default Price Navigation Step range. E.g. if we set it 500, then the price ranges will be like:

    • 0 – 500

    • 500 – 1000

    • 1000 – 1500

    • 1500 – 2000 etc.

  5. Put Maximum Number of Price Intervals you want to display:

  6. Click Save config button to apply the changes.

  7. Go back to the store frontend and check how the new price ranges in the layered navigation look.
