In this tutorial you will learn the way to disable/enable arrows markup in Monstroid templates.

Monstroid. How to disable/enable arrows markup

Arrows Markup refers to submenu indicator triangles. They provide a visual queue to the user that there is more content to be revealed (see the screenshot below):

To disable the navigation menu arrows markup, you should perform the following steps:

  1. In your WordPress admin panel navigate to the Cherry -> Options -> Navigation menu.

  2. Scroll the page down and you will see the Arrows markup option there. Click On value to enable arrows markup or click Off value to disable them:

  3. Don’t forget to Save options. Then you can refresh your site to preview the changes.

If you still see no changes on your site or some menu items still have/don’t have submenu indicator triangles, it means that you use Mega Menu on your site. In this case you should perform the following steps:

NOTE: You will need to repeat these steps separately for every required Mega Menu item.

  1. In your WordPress admin panel navigate to the Appearance -> Menus menu.

  2. Select the menu you need to edit, hover the required menu item and click the appeared on it Mega Menu icon:

  3. In the appeared window switch to the Media tab and check Hide sub-menu arrow option.

    In the top right corner click Save button to save the changes:

  4. Don’t forget to Save Menu. Then you can refresh your site to preview the changes.
