This tutorial shows how to work with MotoPress Slider in Monstroid template:

Adding Text, Image, Button and Video layers

  1. Go to MotoPress Slider in admin section. In this section you can Edit, Duplicate or Remove slides. We have one slider. Click on Edit Slides:

  2. There we can see a list of slides. You can change order of slides using drag and drop feature (such section is highlighted on a screenshot). You may also Duplicate or Delete slides in the Slides List section:

  3. Here is our slide. We can see that it has an image. Let’s add some text to our slide using Add Text button:

  4. Click on a layer with text and select the appropriate style. You can add text and html code to text/html section. You may also change Start Animation effect:

  5. You can add image layer to a slide using Add Image button. Click the button and Select image from media library or upload from your computer:

  6. You can change image dimensions and drag it to the appropriate position. You can also assign link to the image in Layer Settings:

  7. Now we are going to add a Button:

    You can select Button style, assign link to the button and specify the style. You may change order of layers (using drag and drop feature on the right side):

  8. Let’s add layer with Video to our slide:

  9. You can also adjust settings for video player in the appropriate section:

  10. Save changes:

  11. Check your site. We have added Text, Image, Button and Video layers:

Changing slide image

  1. Now we are going to change image for this slide. You can do this in Image section: Monstroid. How to work with Motopress slider-14
  2. You can use images from Media library or from External URL. Click on Browse image in order to select image from media library or upload it from your computer.

    We recommend that you upload images with the same aspect ratio as original slider images. In this case layout of slider image will be the same as in the original template:

  3. Our slider has landscape aspect ratio. You may upload image with another aspect ratio like square image. In this case you will need to adjust layout settings using Size section. You may try different settings in order to find which Size preset will work better:

  4. We can see the white background as image does not cover all area. You can change background color in Color tab. You may set color or gradient as background:

Replacing image slide with video slide

  1. Let’s place video slide instead of image slide:

  2. Open Image tab and click on remove button:

  3. Go to Video tab. You should upload videos in the appropriate formats and specify direct links to those videos. You may upload video using Media manager or hosting file manager. You can also adjust settings for video:

  4. Save changes and check your slide:

Setting custom link to a slide.

  1. You can set custom link to a slide in Link tab. In this case image/video will have the appropriate link:

Visibility settings
  1. In Visibility tab you can hide slide from unregistered users and set visibility date: Monstorid. How to work with Motopress slider-22

General settings

  1. Go to MotoPress Slider and click Settings:

  2. There you can set slider to have Fullwidth layout, specify Layers Grid size and Slideshow options:
