This tutorial is going to show how to edit content pages in OpenCart 2.x.

To edit content pages in OpenCart store, you should perform the following steps:

1. In order to change Privacy Policy page or some other information page content, navigate to the Dashboard area. Open Catalog item and select Information tab:

   

2. The second step will be to choose page that you need to change from the Information List and press Edit button in the right corner:

   

3. As you can see, in General section you can change Title of the page, Description that is showing main content of the page and Meta settings. Notice that you can make different changes for every language that you use.

4. The next section that we can see is Data. In Data section you can change store where you need to edit a certain page. In case you are using several stores, it will be very helpful. Also, you can change SEO settings, location in the bottom of the site, Status and Order related to the publication.

5. In Design section you can change layout of the page to some other variant introduced in the drop-down list.

6. We are going to change only text description of the page. For example, we will add word “test”. In general settings there are available different settings for text, you can change font type, color, alignment, add tables, links, insert images and videos. Also, you can add HTML content here:

   

7. Save changes and refresh your site. In such way you can change all inforomation pages on your website.

8. Go back to your website and refresh page with text that you have changed. Now we can see that editing was successful.
