The following tutorial will show you how to change the store name in osCommerce 2.3. New osCommerce templates have the option to change the store logo in the administration panel. Let’s see how to use this feature.

First of all you should prepare your logo. There are various ways to create logo so we won’t describe the logo development process in this tutorial. Let’s image you already have the logo. According to the osCommerce 2.3 requirements the logo image file should be saved in PNG format and named as store_logo.png.

Ok, so you have the prepared logo file.  Open the osCommerce admin panel.

  1.  Click the Store logo link in the Configuration box (left column).
  2. Click the Choose File button and locate the logo file on your computer
  3. When the logo file is uploaded click Save button to apply the change

If everything is ok you should see the message at the top:  Success: The store logo has successfully been updated!
