After osCommerce 2.3 template installation you can have an issue with the missing images/banners.

Solution:

Open osCommerce administration panel
Go to Modules -> Boxes or Tools -> Banner Manager
Click Edit button and then Cancel

This bug will be fixed in future updates. Sorry for the inconveniences
