PrestaShop 1.6.x How to create a blog category and assign posts to it

This guide will show you how to create a blog category and assign posts to it in Prestashop.

1. Open the admin panel of your site and go to Blog – Blog Category:

   

2. Click Add New button to add blog category and fill in the fields required:

   

3. Save the changes and go to Blog – Blog Post, you’ll see a list of posts added. Click Edit button to open any post you need to assign to a category:

   

4. Scroll down until you see Blog Category field, there you can choose a category your post can be assigned to:

   

5. After you’re done, save the changes and check Blog on the site, there you’ll see your newly created category with posts assigned to it.
