The following tutorial is going to show how to edit confirmation and registration emails in PrestaShop store. Let’s check two ways of editing:

Translation tool in the backend

  1. Log into your PrestaShop admin panel.

  2. Navigate to Localization -> Translations, find Modify translations section.

  3. Select the E-mail template translations from the Type of translation dropdown menu, Core (no theme selected) and the required language:

  4. Click Modify button.

  5. Open Core e-mails and by using search tool (CTRL + F) find order_conf.

  6. You can change the body of the message in WYSIWYG editor, that appears after clicking on Edit HTML version. And also you can view/edit the .txt version:

  7. Edit account email in the same way :

  8. After all changes click Save or Save and stay button.

Editing e-mail templates files that are located on your server

  1. Enter your website Hosting CPanel or FTP manager.

  2. Go to mails -> your language folder (en for example).

  3. You will see 2 files for confirmation e-mails: .html, .txt, please download them and edit with any code editor (for example Notepad++ or Sublime2) or directly in the File manager:

  4. After you made all necessary changes, please save your files and upload them to the same directory.
