This tutorial shows you how to work with Olark Live Chat in Prestashop 1.6.x.

PrestaShop 1.6.x. How to manage Olark Live Chat module

In order to manage Olark Live Chat, you have to follow the steps below:

  1. Open www.olark.com site and log into your account. Chat box settings can be modified via this account.

  2. Click ‘Design Your Chat Box’ button to open available options to work with:

  3. On the left you can see a list of preferences available to use:

  4. Among settings to manage are the following: chat box location in the store, its size, colors, greeting message, text for online and offline chat, etc.

  5. Click ‘Save’ button at the bottom of each category once you are done with changes.

  6. Once you are done with modifications, open the store and refresh it. You will see the changes applied.
