PrestaShop 1.6.x. How to manage “TM Google map” module

The following tutorial is going to show how to manage “TM Google map” module in Prestashop 1.6 templates.

Module settings

  1. Log into your Prestashop admin panel.

  2. Navigate to Modules -> Modules -> TM Google map and click Configure:

  3. Here you can select Map Style and Map Type (Roadmap or Satellite).

  4. Define default map zoom level (1 to 17), then decide whether to enable map zoom on mouse wheel scroll, map interface control elements and street view option.

  5. Click Save button to save changes:

Configuring default coordinates

  1. Navigate to Preferences -> Store contacts.

  2. Look for Parameters section.

  3. Set Default latitude and Default longitude values.

    NOTE: You can look for your location coordinates using Google Map service.

  4. Click Save to confirm changes:

Modifying store icon

  1. Navigate to Preferences -> Themes.

  2. Open the Icons tab.

  3. Look for Store icon option and click Add file button. Prestashop recommends using 30x30px transparent GIF images.

  4. Select the file on your computer and click Open.

  5. Click Save button to confirm changes:

  6. Go back to your website frontend and refresh the home page. Check how your TM Google map looks after the changes.
