The following tutorial will show you how to edit your New, Featured and Special products.
1) New Products:
New products are the lastly added items to your store e.g. the products with the highest ID.
You may change the term during your products can be considered as "New" in Preferences > Products
2) Featured Products:
Now we will add the Featured product to the Home page. They are the items which are placed in the root Home category.
In order to add the product to the Featured category you need to do the following:
- Go to Back Office >> Catalog >> (Category >>) Product page
- On the Information tab, scroll down to the Catalog section.
- In the Catalog list, mark (tick on) the Home check box.
- Scroll down and click Save. The item will now display in the Featured Products section of your Front Office homepage.
3) Special Products:
The Special product is the item with the discount applied for it. So, to add your product to the Specials section you just need to add a discount for it.
Choose your product and go to the Prices tab, then click on "Add a new specific price" button.
