VirtueMart. How to install language pack

This tutorial will show you how to install new VirtueMart language pack to translation your store to the desired language.

As VirtueMart is a Joomla component you should also install the Joomla language pack. You can check the detailed tutorial on how to install Joomla language pack. As soon as the Joomla language pack is installed you can proceed with the VirtueMart language installation.

Downloading

First of all you should download the VirtueMart language pack. You can find the necessary language here: http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

Make sure you are downloading the correct language package that meets your VirtueMart version.

You can also search google for the VirtueMart packages with the necessary language included.

Installation

When the download is complete please extract the files from the package.

Upload the languages folder from the extracted language pack to the /administrator/components/com_virtuemart directory.

Note: In order to make the language work you should have the Joomla language installed and activated.
