WooCommerce Troubleshooter. How to fix cart update issue (alternative solution)

Hello, today we’re going to explain you how to correct cart update issue in WooCommerce template.

Let’s say, you have updated WooCommerce plugin to the latest version. Site works well and products are being added to cart successfully. But, if you check the cart itself, there might an issue occur – your cart won’t let you update it after changing the quantity of products or deleting the single item. It will just load instantly.

Fortunately, there’s an easy fix that will let you correct the issue. Please, follow the steps, indicated below to apply it:

1. Visit the WooCommerce page on GitHub and download the latest release of this plugin to your computer:

   

2. Extract this archive and open the /assets/js/frontend/ folder to find the cart.min.js file inside.

3. Connect to your FTP or open cPanel FileManager and navigate to the /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/assets/js/frontend/ directory.

4. Rename the existing cart.min.js file to old_cart.min.js and upload the new file from the package you downloaded previously.

5. That’s all, feel free to check your website – cart page should operate correctly now.
