WordPress Blogging themes. How to change slider dimensions (based on Power Builder)

This tutorial will show you how to change slider dimensions in WordPress Blogging themes (based on Power Builder).

1. The first thing that should be done in order to change slider dimensions is to upload an image with new dimensions. To do this navigate to the Pages->All pages section in your site admin panel and select the page you have the slider on. After this locate the slider module and click on the gear icon on the right-hand side of the module to access its settings. Switch to the Advanced Design Settings tab and set Top Padding and Bottom Padding values to 0, this way padding of slider text won’t affect the height of the slider. You can also play around and set paddings to a higher value and see if it affects the height of the slider.

2. Switch back to the General settings tab. You will see a list of slides. Click on the gear icon for each slide and in the Background Image field select the image with new dimensions. Lower in the same window in the field Background Image Size select Default option. You need to repeat the same procedure for each slide.

3. After the changes are done save the module and update the page. Your slider will have different dimensions now.
