This tutorial shows how to deal with ‘Stylesheet is missing’ error message during the installation of WordPress Blogging Themes.

  1. First, you should unzip the template package.

    This can be done with any archive manager like WinZip(PC), StuffitExpander(MAC), etc.

    Please, check the following tutorials on how to extract files from the archives with WinZip(PC) and StuffitExpander(MAC).

  2. Unzipped template should look like on the screenshot below:

  3. Open the “theme” folder. You will see the theme_name.zip (theme_name stands for your actual theme name, like bedentist, grannali, etc.), manual_install folder and sample_data folder.

  4. Open your WordPress Dashboard and go to the Appearance->Themes menu. Click the Add new -> Upload tab.

  5. You need to upload the theme_name.zip file from the “theme” folder.

  6. Click the Activate link after the successful installation to change the current site layout to the theme you purchased.

    Then you can proceed to sample data installation if you want your website look like the demo template.
