This tutorial will show you how to remove custom post types from admin panel menu in WordPress CherryFramework 3 template.

There are several Custom post types included within a wordpress template:

If you don’t use any custom post type for some reason, you can remove it by following these steps:

  1. In WordPress Admin Panel, go to Appearance > Editor, open theme-init.php file (includes/theme-init.php under themexxxxx):

  2. In this file you will see the piece of codes for each custom post type. You will see the description (marking) at the beginning of each post type:

    Just remove the codes and update the file to have the post section deleted from Admin Panel.
