WordPress. How to assign menus to specific locations

With the help of this step-by-step tutorial you will learn how to assign site menus to the specific locations in WordPress template.

Log into your WordPress admin panel and navigate to the Appearance > Menus section. On the top you will see the Manage Locations tab, click on it.

Here you can see the menu locations on the left. On the right side it shows the menus assigned to these positions.

Please, choose the menu you wish to display on each position. For example, for the Main Menu we’ll select the Main Menu and for the Social Menu – Social Menu. The result will look like on the image below.

Do not forget to save the changes and visit site frontend to see that the menus are now on assigned positions!
