This tutorial will show you how to create feed URL with FeedBurner in WordPress.

FeedBurner is a web feed management provider, a Google service that takes care of your RSS feed.

It provides custom RSS feeds and management tools that help your blog readers or website visitors to get regular updates of your posts via email or Google Reader.

In order to create the FeedBurner URL, you should perform the following:

Step 1: Generate the Feedburner URL.

  1. Register on the FeedBurner site or log into your FeedBurner account.

  2. Type your blog or feed address URL.

    The URL should look like http://example.com/feed – replace example.com with your domain name.

  3. Click on the ‘Next’ button:

  4. Here you can change the Feed Title and Feed address as per your choice (it is optional but is recommended as it acts as a brand name for your feed):

    Click on the ‘Next’ button to proceed further.

  5. Your feed URL has successfully been created. Click on ‘Next’ for Step 2 to consider adding some additional FeedBurner options to your URL:

  6. Tick the boxes that you want to select and click on ‘Next’ button:

  7. You have now successfully set up the feed URL for your feedburner account. The next step is to add it to WordPress.

Step 2: Add the FeedBurner URL to WordPress.

  1. Navigate to Cherry Options -> Footer in your WordPress Dashboard.

  2. Paste the FeedBurner URL into the Feedburner URL thread.

  3. Click ‘Save Options’:
