This tutorial is going to show you how to export the theme sample data via Cherry Plugin. It will allow you to create a backup of your website content in one click.

WordPress. How to export Cherry Framework theme sample data via Cherry Plugin

  1. Log into your WordPress admin panel and make sure that the Cherry Plugin is installed and activated under the Plugins menu. It comes with the latest version of Cherry Framework (3.1+) and adds a new separate menu called Cherry Plugin.

  2. Go to Cherry Plugin -> Export Content.

  3. Click Export Content.

  4. A window will pop up offering you to save a folder sample_data.zip.  Click OK to save it on your computer. Or it will be saved automatically depending on your web browser settings. The archive contains all your website data: images, audio, video and other files from your media library, an XML file with your posts and categories data, a JSON file with widget settings. You can use the downloaded archive to move your website to another hosting server or restore the website data.

  5. A copy of this folder will be created on your FTP under the wp-content/uploads/ folder.
