WordPress Cherry 3.x. How to manage footer logo
June 1, 2015
This tutorial is going to show you how to replace footer logo image manually in WordPress.
WordPress. How to manage footer logo
Company logo can be used twice on the website: either in the header or footer. If there is no possibility to replace the default footer logo with your company’s name within Cherry Options –> Logo&Favicon tab, then you can always do it manually via FTP or File manager:
-
First of all, you need to find out location og your logo image with the inspector of elements, for example with Firebug developer software. In our case, it is stored in wp-content/themes/themeXXXXX/images/footer_logo.png .
You can easily check whether you have selected the right image by opening its link in any browser:
-
Log into your hosting cPanel and locate necessary WordPress files with File manager.
-
Navigate to wp-content/themes/themeXXXXX/images directory.
-
Find footer_logo.png image and rename / delete it.
-
Upload your custom footer logo that was previously named the same way and saved in the same formatting as the original file:
-
Refresh your website.
