This tutorial shows how to insert website, category and article meta data in Joomla 3.x.

1. You should navigate to System -> Global configuration in order to specify website meta. Specify meta in Metadata Settings section. Save the changes.

   

2. You can change category meta in the category options. Go to Content -> Category manager, select an appropriate category, open Publishing tab. There you can add meta data for your category.

   

3. Now we are going to add the article meta data. Go to Content -> Article manager. Open a particular article, click on Publishing tab.
